Fact or fake? From top secret meetings and natural disasters to gossip stories. Practising passive voice this way can be fun too...

In our English news project we spent the past two weeks on putting our creative ideas on paper. On the one hand, we devised newspaper articles on current topics such as equal rights for men and women or the horrible effects of the earthquakes in Turkey. On the other hand, we made up stories on accidents, incidents, secret meetings of presidents, of a queen haunting her family, top athletes or movie stars and reviews, and created unusual job ads as well as quizzes – just everything it takes for a newspaper.

In our final step we focussed on the layout by putting our IT skills into practice and realising that it takes quite a while to create an appealing text.
